X-Ray Result
Checked on the price for x-ray and they varies, some vet charge $40 ~ $50 per shot depending on size and some vet charge $68 per shot but minimum 2 shots. The most expensive one is about $70 per shot. All clinic do not allow owner to take back the x-ray but this one that I asked they allow and only took 1 shot.
Went to the Vet on Thursday nite without booking, took a cab to & fro cost me abt $12 +.
First, the registration nurse asked me fill up the registration form & then weigh my pepsi, so when I put her on the weighing machine, she quickly make one pee on the machine. Aiyah, then I have to takeout tissues and wipe it. I forgot to look at the readings so I make her stand on it again, then I told the nurse : 16.7 pound = 7.5KG Pepsi's usual weight is around 6KG
Waited for a while then the nurse called me to go into Rm 3, see the vet and he asked afew general questions like: how old is she? is she eating well? is she a good mother? how many times has she given birth? how many litters she use to have?
After all these, go into Rm 5 for the x-ray. This is the first time that I got to experience the x-ray process. The x-ray assistant asked me to put on the x-ray protector and I had to holdon to Pepsi and he went inside to make the shot. Less than one minute and its done. Then we had to wait for the x-ray to get ready.
About ten minutes wait at the waiting area, one 'ang moh' lady came and sat beside us and Pepsi being her usal friendly character will wag her tail and the lady would touch her head. I told the lady that Pepsi will be mother soon then she so surprise and told me that she also have a female dog but its only 8 months old, its a Golden Retriever but she love to have a toy breed but worried that they will escape from the gate.
Then the nurse call me to go back into Rm 3 to see the doctor. So I went in and wait, I saw the x-ray on the light board. The Vet came in and showed me how to see the x-ray and he mentioned that Pepsi could have 4 litters this time, but one of them could harly see the spine.
So he said if the 4th litter don't come out after a long wait, I have to rush to the doctor to check and make sure there's no more puppies inside!
