LANTERN MEMORY

Again its Lantern Festival, everybody start buying Mooncake.

Its quite a big event for the Chinese to celebrate the Mooncake Festival, in the past children stayed in the kampong like to carry their lovely paper lantern with candle to walk around. To light up the dark area at night, when the child didn't carry the lantern properly, the paper lantern will catch fire and burnt away.

Nowadays, children have battery operated plastic lantern. Very modern, very safe and very lasting...

My little niece have one Musical Lantern that my mum bought last year.

I saw it sitting on the table, so I thought it's spoiled. Then my mum said : "Just bring out and put there, sometime turn it on and let it make some music lor, this year bel bel(my niece) not in Singapore to play it" ('cos my brother's bringing her for a tour during that time)

Then I remembered, "Oh yah, they 'll be leaving just a day before the Mooncake Festival"

Remember last year, my niece was still too young to have strength to carry this "quite" heavy musical lantern.

Some children already carrying their lovely lantern and play at the field these few night.
