NATURAL BEHAVIOUR

Its natural for all mothers to protect their babies.

This also happen to Pepsi, she is a very caring & protective mother. She dont let COLA go near her babies and even when I pickup one of them, she'll follow me wherever I go until I put it down infront of her.

From time to time, she'll go to her babies and lay down feed them milk. Licked them to make sure they urine, new born puppies doesnt know how to pass urine by themselves until weeks later.

In the night, its a little busy for Pepsi (natural behaviour for animals), she lightly bite the puppy's hind leg and carry them to another place (just be away from the original place - picture below).

Sometimes, find her under my computer desk, she like to be at the corner.

Sometimes, whole night move around.

In the small space between my fish tank and TV cupboard.

This habit will last till the puppies eyes open after 14 days from birth.

VISIT TO THE HOSPITAL

27th 9.45am. Went to the Animal Hospital, waited almost 1hr for my turn.

Bought along the x-ray result & 2 new born pups & Pepsi, just wanna make sure there's no more unborn pup inside. I think is also my six sense tells me there must be 1 more inside so I want the Vet to check and make double sure.

The Vet press Pepsi's stomach and said "I cant feel any more but if you wanna make double sure, I can give her a ultra sound scan to see the womb." I agreed.

I went outside and wait, after a while the Vet ask me go in. I went into this room where they have this ultra sound machine (scanning the tummy just like pregnant woman).

The Vet told me "there's really another one inside but its not properly form, so not consider a puppy yet and that's why is not given birth to it"

Ultra sound result

The Vet gave her a jab to let her pass out (just like poo), Vet also told me it will not have the shape of a puppy, it will just be a lum of masshy sticky poo. Vet ask me to look out for it, I have to make sure Pepsi shit it out if she didnt then it will cause infection in her womb. If infection really take place then will have to remove her whole womb!

I monitored her poo for awhile, each time she goes to the newspaper I'll keep a lookout for the masshy sticky lum.

I think this is it!

Phew! save!
